Materials & processes
The right resin for the job
| Material | Best for | Note |
|---|---|---|
| PP | Food containers, kitchenware | Cheapest food-grade workhorse |
| ABS | Housings, durable goods | Tough, good finish |
| PET | Clear bottles, packaging | Clear, recyclable |
| PC | Drinkware, impact parts | Heat-resistant, premium |
| Silicone / TPR | Soft-touch, seals, baby | Food-safe, high-temp |
| PCR / PLA | Eco lines | Recycled / compostable, premium |
Processes: injection moulding (rigid 3D), blow moulding (bottles & hollow), extrusion (pipe, sheet & film).
Compliance, handled
Food-contact & safety, your market's standard
We supply pre-tested product with the documentation, from accredited labs (SGS, Intertek, BV, QIMA). LFGB testing runs ~$450–650/material; pre-shipment QC $150–300/inspection.

How we make it
Three processes, one roof
Most products use one of these. We'll tell you which is right for your part, and own the tooling either way.
Injection moulding
The workhorse for rigid 3D parts — boxes, lids, containers, housings, handles. Highest tooling cost, lowest unit cost at volume. Multi-cavity moulds cut your per-part price as you scale.
- • Single to family / multi-cavity tooling
- • Tolerances to ±0.05mm
- • Over-moulding & insert moulding
Blow moulding
For hollow parts — bottles, jugs, jerrycans, large containers. Lower tooling cost than injection, ideal for packaging and fluid products.
- • Extrusion & injection blow
- • PET preform & stretch-blow
- • 10ml to 20L+ volumes
Extrusion
For continuous profiles — pipe, tubing, sheet and film. The route for flexible packaging and linear parts.
- • Profile & co-extrusion
- • Sheet & thermoforming
- • Flexible film & bags

2026 demand
Where plastics are selling
- ●Aesthetic home organisation. The "CleanTok" wave — clear PP / acrylic storage, drawer dividers, modular bins. High virality, high margin.
- ●Recycled & BPA-free. PCR and bio-resins for brands that need a sustainability story — a real differentiator for DTC.
- ●Pet & baby. Feeders, bowls, organisers, feeding sets — steady demand, and the higher compliance bar becomes a billable service.
- ●Modular & collapsible. Space-saving, stackable systems that command a premium over single-use items.
Plastics FAQ
What does tooling cost?+
From ~$1,000 for a simple single-cavity aluminium mould to $30,000+ for high-precision multi-cavity steel. Each added cavity adds ~30–50% to mould cost but lowers your unit price. You own the tooling.
What's the minimum order?+
Typically ~500–1,000 units, with small validation batches of 100–500 at a higher unit cost so you can test before committing to a full run.
Which material should I use?+
We default you to PP (cheap, food-safe, microwave/dishwasher safe) unless a property forces an upgrade: clarity → PET/PC, heat → silicone/PC, soft-grip → TPR. We'll advise on landed cost and compliance together.
How long from idea to delivery?+
Sampling 1–2 weeks, mass production 4–8 weeks, plus freight (LCL sea 25–40 days, 60–75% cheaper than air). We'll give you a dated timeline in your quote.
